The Haslam Memorial Foundation was created in memory of Richard Haslam. He lovingly served the community of East Haddam, and we continue to do so in his memory.

Supporting Youth Programs in and Around East Haddam, CT

During his time in East Haddam, CT, Mr. Haslam developed many youth service activities and encouraged the town to create a youth services bureau. He coached numerous sporting teams, his favorite being baseball for the East Haddam-Moodus Little League.

All proceeds from our Tournament will support youth activities in and around the town of East Haddam.

In Memory of Richard Haslam

Mr. Haslam was a stand-out athlete in baseball, basketball, and soccer. He had the option of becoming a professional baseball player and a professional bowler in the late 1960s. Everyone who knew him recognized his commitment to the community as well as to his family and friends.
