Haslam Memorial Foundation recently presented a check to Nancy Carpentier, East Haddam resident who makes daily meals for families in need. Because of all of her cooking for the community, her oven went on the fritz requiring her to purchase a new one at considerable expense. The Foundation thanked her for the wonderful service she provides to East Haddam youth and their families out of the goodness of her heart.
